We supply the initial kindling, firelighters and logs for your first night. You can purchase additional supplies by contacting reception.

Our Resort Lodges are equipped with irons and ironing boards. If you're staying in a different accommodation type and need one, please contact reception and we'll be happy to assist.

Yes, all of our Barns have a hairdryer.

Select Barns are equipped with electric car chargers. You can use the search filter during booking to find lodges that include this feature. Car charging is available for £40 per stay, and a fair usage policy applies.

Yes, all lodges have a Nespresso coffee pod machine. We provide a few pods to get you started.

Two complimentary robes are provided for your stay. Additional robes are available to hire, simply add them to your booking.

Check-in is available from 4pm. For early access from 2pm, simply add Early Check-In to your booking for £40.

There's no need to check in upon arrival—our process is fully contactless. We'll contact you with all the arrival details 7 days before your stay. If you have any questions in the meantime, feel free to reach out to us via email at info@stayatthebarns.com.

Check-out is 10am. For a late check-out, simply add it to your booking for £40.
Is there parking next to my accommodation?

Yes, you have 2 spaces outside your accommodation.
Do we have to pay the breakage protection fee?
Do we have to pay the breakage protection fee?
Breakage Protection is available for £35 and covers up to £500 of accidental damage during your stay. If you choose not to add this, a refundable damage deposit of £250 will be required 7 days before arrival. Provided no damage is reported, your deposit will be automatically released on the day of departure. Please allow 3–5 working days for the refund to be processed.

Can we fish on your lakes?
Fishing is not permitted on site.
Can we have a food delivery to our Barn?
Yes, you are welcome to order a food delivery to your lodge. Please note that we are unable to accept the delivery on your behalf, so you will need to be on site when it arrives. You will be notified of your Barn allocation the week prior to your arrival.
Alternatively, there is a well stocked Tesco supermarket just a 5 minute drive from site.
Are there walks accessible from the site?
Scenic walks along the canal and through the woodland leading to the mere can be accessed directly from The Barns at Blackwater Meadow—just follow the on-site signage.
